I am a Centurion based photographer – specialising in mobile studio photography – who works throughout South Africa, but mainly in the Gauteng and Free State regions.

Shooting a variety of commercial, wedding and portrait photography, I like to give each shoot a poise and character of its own. When it comes to people photography I believe in letting the shoot unfold itself, allowing the people being photographed to tell their own story (although a bit of friendly prodding might be necessary at times). It is important that everyone photographed has had a really good experience.

I contribute to numerous international stock-photo libraries and have had photographs published as far as China, the Middle East, Egypt, Europe and the Americas. I enjoy considerable photographic recognition on the World Wide Web and a search under Jurie Maree will deliver quite a number of hits, although I take no responsibility for any shady characters with the same name.
